What is Virgin Hair?

The term virgin hair refers to hair that has been untouched by chemical processes such as dyes, perms, and relaxers. Our Mink Virgin Hair is selected for highest quality in the marketplace.

 

What does Remy mean?

Remy” or “Full Cuticle Hair” means that the hair has all cuticles healthy, intact and all cuticles flow in the same direction from root to the tip. Typically hair is of “remy” quality when it has been collected directly from a woman’s head and has been cut while held in a ponytail, so none of the hair strands fall to the floor.

Because of the careful collection process, only “Remy” quality hair can guarantee that all cuticles will stay aligned and the hair will be tangle-free hair in its most natural form. True “remy” hair lasts for a long time, can be reused several times, and can be colored or flat ironed with heat just like one’s own natural hair.

 

How is length measured?

The Straight Textures are measured true to length.
The curly, Body Wave, Loose Wave, Kinky Curly and Deep Wave are measured when hair is pulled straight.

Can the hair be straightened or curled?

YES, this is 100% Human Hair, so treat it as your own. You can curl and straighten the hair as desired. (Note – The hair may lose some of the curl pattern with constant heat so use a heat protectant.)

Can the hair be colored or dyed?

YES, you can color our hair. Our hair is 100% virgin remy hair of premium quality and has never been chemically treated and it can therefore handle the coloring process very well.
However, it will no longer be virgin once you color or process the hair. We suggest you consult a professional if you wish to color your new hair.

How much hair should I order?

For a full sew in weave we recommend buying 2-3 packs of hair. For hair over 16″, we recommend ordering 3-4 packs of hair.

The main rule is longer hair equals shorter weft width because bundles are sold by weight.
Also, take into consideration that the number of packs needed also depends on the style and volume you desire. For example, if you want a celebrity weave with a lot of volume and layers, you will need 3 to 4 packs of hair.

 

What does CO-WASH mean?

Co-Washing, also known as conditioner washing, is a way to clean the hair without the use of shampoo. Washing your hair with conditioner, or co-washing, is often considered very good for curly hair. Co-washing consists of cleansing the hair with a MOISTURIZING conditioner in place of shampoo.

 

Once I order, how long will it be until I receive my hair?

You will receive your order within 5-10 business days after your order has been processed, excluding holidays.
We will email your tracking number once your hair has been shipped. If it is a special order or hair that is not in stock, please allow 7-10 business days.
